Biography
Daniel Almirall is a faculty member at the d3center and Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. His research develops statistical methods for adaptive interventions used in managing chronic conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance use. He is also pioneering methodologies for multilevel adaptive implementation strategies (MAISYs) via Multilevel Implementation SMARTs (MI-SMARTs). Dr. Almirall plays a central role in designing and analyzing experimental studies led by the d3center, particularly in mental health and behavioral health settings.
