Biography
Dr. Goldberg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology and Core Faculty at the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He conducts research on psychological interventions, with an emphasis on the effects of and mechanisms underlying meditation- and mindfulness-based interventions. He is currently focused on the development and testing of digital meditation training. He is employing hybrid factorial and micro-randomized designs to optimize and personalize this approach for reducing depression and anxiety. His work has been funded by NIH and has been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Scientific American.
