Biography
Maureen Walton, MPH, Ph.D., is a community psychologist, professor, and associate chair for research in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. Her research seeks to prevent and treat substance use and related concerns, such as interpersonal violence, to enhance well-being of young people. She has expertise in harnessing digital health technologies for intervention delivery and collaborates with community partners to enhance impact. She is particularly interested in developing adaptive interventions that blend human and digital delivery of intervention components and conducting optimization studies with innovative designs.
