Biography
David Wetter, Ph.D., is the Huntsman Presidential Professor, Director of the Center for Health Outcomes and Population Equity, Senior Director at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Director for Community and Stakeholder Engagement at the Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute at the University of Utah. His work is targeted at chronic disease prevention among populations at high risk. Dr. Wetter has a NIH-funded grant portfolio of almost 30 years and >300 publications. His research program has received awards from the Society of Behavioral Medicine, American Society for Preventive Oncology, Society for Health Psychology, and Astra Zeneca/Scientific American.
